Swampscott Home Sales Range From $305,000 To $890,000 In Late Summer
Fourteen properties recorded deed transfers in Swampscott between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19. Eight of those sales carried a recorded price so far, ranging from $305,000 to $890,000, with a median of $522,500. The period's top sale was 121 Redington St., Lot 9, which sold for $890,000 on Sept. 8 to Sean M. Regan. Five of the 14 transfers moved a property from an individual owner into a trust bearing that same name, rather than an open-market sale, and six of the 14 deeds have no price on file yet, consistent with the registry's typical reporting lag. Based on available data, transaction volume was moderate and no sale reached $1 million.
