Swampscott sales split between big-ticket waterfront deal and wave of no-price family transfers
Swampscott recorded 14 property deeds between July 31 and Aug. 29, but only seven listed a sale price, ranging from $382,500 to $2,050,000 with a median of $740,000. The month's top sale was 31 Lincoln House Point Lot 2, which sold for $2,050,000 on Aug. 26. Six of the 14 transfers, all without disclosed prices, moved property from an individual to a trust bearing the same name. Most recorded addresses carried condominium or unit designations rather than single-family status. With half the period's sales lacking price data, the figures reflect only what was disclosed in the deed records.
