SWAMPSCOTT — Water & Sewer Infrastructure Advisory Committee approves lateral inspection bylaw amendment. Chair Kelley C. Begin led the seven-member panel in a 5-2 vote to accept the revised bylaw incorporating Select Board Liaison Wayne Spritz's written and verbal comments.
The measure advances to Town Counsel for legal review, then public hearings and Select Board approval. In unanimous action, the committee approved a final draft letter to the Select Board on culvert sampling. DPW Director Gino Cresta briefed the committee on ongoing water system repairs and leaks; two agenda items were tabled for lack of time.
