Swampscott For All Ages Committee approves prior minutes and reviews aging-services initiatives. Co-Chairs Robert J Powell and Alyce L. Deveau, along with members Patricia a Hines, Margaret Somer, and Jennifer Nisbet, heard updates on housing, transportation, and community programs at the May 11 meeting.
The Council on Aging reported that 31 percent of transportation requests go unfulfilled and called for additional funding for driver payroll and a full-time administrator. The Community Life Center survey has collected approximately 200 responses toward a 500-response goal, to be promoted at Town Meeting on May 18.
