Swampscott Community Preservation Committee approves $822K budget and joins state coalition. The committee unanimously voted to reserve 5 percent of its FY27 surcharge income and state funding for administrative expenses as it formalizes its grant-making operations. In a second unanimous vote, the committee joined the Community Preservation Coalition.
A sub-committee led by Secretary Aaron Berdofe will finalize the committee's formal plan for distribution to all town boards and committees.
