Swampscott Retirement Board approves two retirements and actuarial consultant. The Contributory Retirement Board unanimously approved superannuation retirements for Raymond Rice, former DPW Assistant Director, effective April 30, 2026, and Glenn Bartram, SFD Firefighter/EMT, effective May 1, 2026. The board also unanimously voted to award an actuarial services contract to Segal Consulting following review of five competing firms.
Financial warrants totaling nearly $7 million were approved, including an April 2026 Expense Warrant of $88,515.70 and an April 30 Payroll Warrant of $6,981,605.23.
