Planning Board continues 80 Puritan Road project; approves 69 Puritan Road residence.
Planning Board · Meeting of April 13, 2026
SWAMPSCOTT — Planning Board continued 80 Puritan Road expansion and approved 69 Puritan Road new home. Applicant B. Scott Miller's proposed 754-square-foot roof and porch addition at 80 Puritan Road failed preliminary compliance review for half-story requirements, with Chair Ted Dooley and members expressing concern about third-floor habitable area, roof height inconsistencies, and plan accuracy; Member Jer Jurma's motion to continue to the next meeting passed unanimously.
At 69 Puritan Road, the Board unanimously approved a Site Plan Special Permit for Robert and Lauren Dandreo's proposed single-family residence, though Member Angela Ippolito's motion succeeded only after applicant Attorney Kenneth Shutzer acknowledged Board concerns about extensive front-yard paving and two curb cuts and agreed to consider revisions reducing impervious surface and enhancing landscaping.
