Philip G. Vener, 91, of Swampscott, died on June 29, 2026. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn S. (Yudin) Vener, and is survived by his children, Andrea Katz of Lynn, Jim Vener of Swampscott, and Ron Vener (Erica) of Marblehead; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem, MA 01970. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Congregation Shirat Hayam (Swampscott), or Chabad Lubavitch of the North Shore (Swampscott) per the family's wishes. Jackson D. "Jackie" Gateman, 88, of Swampscott, died on July 2, 2026. He was predeceased by his wife, Enid Gateman, and is survived by his sibling Shirley Keselman (Carl); his children Lori, Michael Gajewski, William, and Jodi Gateman; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem, MA 01970, followed by burial at Lynn Cemetery, 89 Lake Shore Rd., Lynn, MA.
