Historical Commission votes to deny significance for Huron Street structure

Swampscott Historical Commission votes unanimously to deny historical significance for structure at 55 Huron Street, clearing the way for demolition. Chair Nancy Lusignan Schultz reported the Select Board unanimously backed the Commission's Glover House fundraising, and Schultz will present on the property at the Salem Armory on April 29. The Commission unanimously approved up to $750 for Robert Booth to conduct deed research on the Pitman House.
Treasurer Brendan Bradley reported a general fund balance of $1,252.47 and revolving fund balance of $3,739.18.
