Conservation Commission continues two coastal development projects

Swampscott Conservation Commission defers two coastal development applications. The board continued the 12-24 Pine Street and 10 New Ocean Street project (a 3-story apartment building in coastal storm flowage) to February 24 and the 69 Puritan Road application (single-family home reconstruction near a coastal bank) to February 3. Both await DEP File Numbers to proceed.

The commission unanimously approved the Muskrat Pond and Beach Management Plans and adopted the 2026 meeting calendar, moving the December meeting from the 29th to the 15th.
