Swampscott For All Ages Committee approves Rail Trail funding letter to regional planners. The Committee backed correspondence to the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization supporting Transportation Improvement Program funding for the Swampscott Rail Trail, which faces jeopardy. Members also finalized March 14 wellness conference plans and volunteered for assignments; Abacus Company, conducting the Community Life Center feasibility study, will attend and is developing a resident survey on aging services wants and needs.
Co-Chair Robert J Powell and member Steven T James will conduct an AARP bike audit once weather improves.
