Swampscott For All Ages Committee · Meeting of January 12, 2026

Swampscott For All Ages Committee approves five-year plan domain updates. The committee voted to remove a 2028 community paramedicine program goal due to lack of certified staff and approved extending collaboration with police, fire, and Council on Aging. Members identified updating the Swampscott Resources booklet as a priority, discussed food insecurity initiatives with Whole Foods, and approved reworded language promoting public restrooms.

Select Board Liaison Mary Ellen Fletcher reported available funding for bus-rider benches and asked the committee for priority site recommendations. Co-Chair Robert J Powell requested five-year plan change submissions by week's end.
