Swampscott climate committee approves prior meeting minutes, advances grant work for school and beach projects. The Climate Action and Resilience Committee unanimously approved its February 3 minutes at its March 3 meeting. The committee is pursuing additional contractors for Fisherman's Beach flood mitigation and advancing a $100,000 grant proposal for a rain garden at Johnson Park.
Work on the Climate Leader Municipal grant continues with focus on a comprehensive building assessment for Swampscott High School before a May Technical Assistance grant resubmission.
